86th Legislative Session Update on CPS-Related Matters
Please join the Children's Commission on Tuesday, July 23, 2019, from 12:00 p.m. – 1 p.m. for a one-hour webcast entitled “86th Legislative Session Update on CPS-Related Matters.” Children's Commission Staff Attorney Dylan Moench will provide the update on bills passed during the 86th Legislative Session relevant to attorneys practicing child protection law. Each bill will be examined in detail, including the subject and purpose of each bill, the statutes affected, and the effective date. The information will enable attorneys to understand the changes in the law and be prepared to incorporate them into their practice as soon as they become effective. MCLE has been requested from the State Bar of Texas. Registration is limited for the live webcast.
