Dear MARJCC Family,
We’re reopening! We are looking forward to welcoming you, our members, back to the Michael-Ann Russell JCC on Monday, June 8.
During our closure, due to COVID-19, we brought the community to your home. From a distance, we used technology to reach you and stay connected—replacing our programs that require walls with those that require dedication, ingenuity, and commitment from our team. Now, we transition once again, to opening our campus with new protocols and procedures in place.
These new protocols and procedures— developed in accordance with recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Florida Department of Health, and local, county, and state authorities— allow us to reopen the JCC cautiously, and with the health and safety of our members, guests, and staff as our highest priority.
As a result, when our campus reopens on June 8, the MARJCC experience will be different because we have raised our standards to an even higher level. This email, as well as our reopening video, outlines some of the changes that have been made to ensure that we are creating a secure and comfortable environment for our members.
While we are committed to maintaining proper physical distancing, our connection to each other remains close. Continue to be safe, and when you are ready to come back to the MARJCC, we will be waiting for you.
