In times like these, music is more important than ever. That is why we're thrilled to announce that we've found a way to bring you a 'virtual' edition of the PRISMA Festival, in spite of its physical cancellation due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Starting this Monday, June 15, we invite you to enjoy a
nightly livestream
featuring pre-recorded orchestral and chamber music performances, engaging interviews, historical highlights, behind-the-scenes access, as well as brand new studio segments and solo performances recorded from a safe social distance.
The PRISMA Academy has gone digital as well, with our guest artists using Zoom to offer remote masterclasses and mentorship sessions to this year’s accepted students. As a viewer, you'll get a front-row seat in our digital classroom and be able to watch these fine musicians at work.
This 10-episode web series will be hosted by maestro Arthur Arnold and members of the PRISMA staff, filling the two-week spot PRISMA's annual festival and music academy was to occupy this June.
Tune in on weeknights from 7 to 8 pm PDT on PRISMA’s Facebook and YouTube pages, as well as on Shaw TV in Powell River. You won’t want to miss this epic musical celebration!
