Dear Saint Rose Families, 

Welcome Back to School! Today was wonderful! Seeing the students in the hallways, classrooms, lunchroom and playground was very rewarding. Thank you for trusting the Saint Rose faculty and staff to take the necessary precautions for a safe return to school. Thank you to our team of teachers who planned all summer to make this day possible.  
I am looking forward to day number 2.

Lunch

Lunches purchased from Extra Virgin Catering will be bagged lunches. Milk will be provided with the purchased lunch and students that pack can purchase milk as well. 

We are unable to sell extras at this time.

Thank You, Mr. Hoovler!

Mr. Hoovler will be taking a leave of absence for the time being. Jason Roberston, current Saint Rose maintenance director and long time St. Joe Sylvania physical education teacher will take three days a week and Wendy Walkosky, current Saint Rose parent and school substitute with a PhD in exercise science, will teach two days a week.

Arrival & Dismissal Procedures

Arrival
Please follow the flow of traffic and signs as you progress from Front Street onto Linden Lane. K-8 parents will take the inside lane and preschool parents will use the outside lane.  
Please keep your children in the car until they are directed by the faculty members to unload. 
K-8 cars will pull straight out and turn right on Front Street to exit once unloaded.  
Preschool parents will wait to be directed to pull in front of the school to unload and walk their children to the preschool teachers. Preschool parents will then be directed to pull forward and turn right on Elm Street to go around the circle to exit at the light on Front Street. 
Please do not arrive before 8:45. We need to avoid having cars backed up on Front Street. Arriving between 8:50 and 8:55 is usually the best time. 

Dismissal
Parking will be limited on campus this year since the school will be using much of the parking lot for socially distanced dismissal. You may want to consider parking off campus and walking to campus if you do not want to use car line. 
Parents entering carl ine will pull off Front Street onto Linden Lane and follow the traffic circle. Dismissal does not require preschool and K-8 to be in a particular line. 
Please pull forward as directed. Students will be directed by the faculty to go to their vehicles once all cars are stopped. Parents can also exit their vehicles to get their children.  
Both lanes of cars will then be directed to pull forward, turn right on Elm Street and exit through the light on Front Street. 
Please do not arrive in the dismissal car line before 3:15. Please help us keep our parking lot clear so that cars can pull in and out. 

Thank you for your cooperation and patience.  We anticipate more families will use car line this year. We want to keep things safe and efficient.
