Help Us Serve You Better!
FILL OUT OUR ONLINE SURVEY
During these uncertain times, all of us still have training needs that can be met in one way or another. We in N.C. Cooperative Extension are still available but often in different manners than those we previously called normal. As such several classes, symposium, and workshops have been cancelled or moved to other formats. In order to better serve you and continue offering classes we would appreciate you taking a few minutes to fill out this short survey.

Some of you responded before and we appreciate your responses. If you did not please take the time to complete this survey as it is important to us to develop classes or other training programs.

N.C. Cooperative Extension Buncombe County Center
49 Mt. Carmel Road, Asheville, NC 28806
For those of you who need to grab a couple of pesticide credits before the end of September and have some of the odd categories that you find challenging to find credits in this class is right up your alley! 2 hours of credits in basically, all categories are available. If you attempt to register and the class is already full please let us know. It is possible to offer the class twice before the end of September. If you have enough credits consider waiting until later.

This short workshop will cover choosing the right personal protective equipment for safety purposes when applying pesticides. Choices will be based on the label recommendations. Landscape Contractors, farmers, and groundskeepers need to comply with various laws including those on the pesticide label. Understanding PPE can be an important part of keeping safe and keeping employees safe when using various pesticides.

The classroom we’re using is in a safe classroom that exceeds CDC guidelines with desk shields, social distancing, and other protocols in place. As such we are limiting attendance to meet CDC, County, and State guidelines to a maximum of 8 attendees. The class still has the other aspects of a face to face class and is designed to meet the needs of individuals needing credits that may find attending Zoom or other online classes challenging. Attendees are encouraged to wear face coverings when they are in the class and these are required while in common areas. Be Safe- Our health depends on it!
