Hope Church Friends and Family,
We hope and pray this email finds you well. We are grateful for God’s faithfulness and for the blessing we have of being able to gather again for our Worship services on Sundays. Below is important information regarding our church services and other events this summer:
NEW SERVICE TIMES
Beginning Sunday, June 28, we will offer only
two
Sunday Worship services. The times will be as follows:
9am | Traditional Service with Communion
10:30am | Contemporary Service
As a reminder, temporarily bulletins will not be handed out on Sunday mornings. A "mini-bulletin" has been created:
See June 28's bulletin.
Restrictions continue to loosen here in Minnesota making our capacity limit 50% (175 people). With the present guidelines we believe we can accommodate everyone who desires to attend our services while at the same time following social distancing guidelines. We will continue our online worship services indefinitely for those who prefer to worship from home. You can access our online services on Hope’s YouTube channel
(Hope Church | YouTube Channel).
We ask that everyone who attends our services play their part in practicing safe social distancing. You can find a full list of our safety guidelines here
(COVID19 | SAFETY GUIDELINES).
Sunday Sermon and Scriptures
This Sunday we will be wrapping up our sermon series on the book of Hebrews. Pastor Ben will be preaching from Hebrews 13:1-16. Key Scriptures for this week are Romans 12:9-13 and John 17:20-23.
Sunday Heat No More!
This past Sunday (June 21) our AC unit was not working properly. We apologize for the inconvenience as the Sanctuary was very warm. We have had our maintenance crew out this week and the AC will be up and running again this weekend (Lord willing).
Upcoming Events:
We have some events coming up this July that are geared for the whole family. Please consider joining us as we continue to adjust to ministry in an era of social distancing (see below).
We pray that these truths from God’s Word encourage you this week:
“The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. Those who know Your name trust in you, for You, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek You.”
–Psalm 9:9-10
In Christ,
Pastor Ben
