Bulletin #19 - June 11, 2020
As announced earlier this week; select Public Health Units within Ontario are moving to Stage 2 of Reopening tomorrow (Friday, June 12). Under Stage 2; restaurants, bars, food trucks and other food and drink establishments are being permitted to open for dining in outdoor areas only, such as patios, curbside, parking lots and adjacent premises.

Patio Reopening
Provincial guidance has not been received from Public Health Ontario, however some Public Health Units (PHU) have posted regional guidance:


While there are common guidlines across all three of these PHU, you are encouraged to contact your local PHU for guidance in your specific area as they may differ from those listed above.
Temporary Extension of Outdoor Patio
The Government of Ontario has introduced new measures to support liquor sales licensees in temporarily extending their patios in order to safely reopen for business. Please click here to view the AGCO guidelines.

At the beginning of next week, Government will be providing an update on the ongoing assessment of remaining Public Health Units, and whether they are permitted to move into Stage 2 by the end of that same week.
