NEW WEBSITE LAUNCHES TODAY
Most parents of dyslexic children agree that finding information relevant to their students can be challenging and overwhelming. With this in mind, Decoding Dyslexia Park Cities (DDPC) parent leaders have combined the most helpful resources currently available with new information created specifically for families in the Park Cities, and now it's all online!

This website will be a resource for every parent, no matter where they find themselves:
  • Suspecting a Student has Dyslexia
  • Navigating the Evaluation and Identification Process
  • Confused about Special Education and Section 504
  • Preparing for an ARD / Section 504 Meeting
  • Looking for Helpful Assistive Technology and Accommodation Ideas
  • Considering an Educational Advocate
  • Looking for Updates Related to COVID Learning
  • Researching Graduation Requirements

The purpose of this new resource is not to overwhelm parents with more information, but instead to equip them with the best tools and most school-specific resources available. The overarching goal of the website and Decoding Dyslexia Park Cities is to support families so that every student can be as successful as possible in school and in life.
