The Portsmouth Arts Guild is switching the dates for the two shows Imagine Fabric and Where the Water Meets the Land.
Due to concerns about social gatherings, the Guild decided to make the Where the Water Meets Land Show a Virtual Gallery Show. This means that there will be an intake but it will be by email only.
There will be no physical handling or transporting of Artworks.
This theme of the show is Earth and Water. Imagination is encouraged. The range of subject matter is endless from beaches to puddles to bathtubs or kitchen sinks. Water is everywhere. This is a non-Juried show so all work submitted will be accepted and shared.
Members and Non-Members are invited to submit up to three pieces of art for this show.
Due to the digital nature of this show, most work will be two-dimensional, though photos of 3-D work will also be accepted.
Here's where intake differs from the usual Guild shows:
Intake is the week of May 6th to May 12th. Artists must email pictures in jpeg format ( no larger than 3MB),
along with size in inches, medium and price
,
to the
[email protected]
address.
The Virtual Opening Celebration, meaning the show will be online, will be Saturday, May 16th. The show will be visible to hundreds of people on the Guild social media sites, Facebook, Instagram and the brand new YouTube Channel. It will also be on the Guild website.
