PLE Crew,

We had such a wonderful Orientation Week! It was great to be with our Crew in the flesh and see their smiling eyes behind the masks! The small groups of students allowed us to get to know our students on a personal level and assess where students are at academically. We hope that today you were able to access our online learning spaces and work out any issues.

Thank you all, too, for your attention to our new pick up and drop off procedures as well. This is presently complicated by a system we need to have in place due to COVID 19 that would be in place despite the location changes. Thank you for your patience and cooperation!

We can’t wait for next week to welcome our full cohorts for the “Official” start of school on Monday, August 24th. Next week all of cohort A will attend in person on Monday and Wednesday and all of cohort B will attend in person on Tuesday and Thursday. Please note that attendance for eLearning days will be based on work completion.

As we get things rolling, please continue to encourage your child to help minimize the spread of COVID 19 and get back to full in-person learning soon by following these general mitigating practices:

  • Frequent Handwashing
  • Social Distancing
  • Wearing a mask

Please know we appreciate you all and your partnership with us as we work back toward normalcy. Feel to reach out whenever you need anything. Have a great weekend! We will see cohort A on Monday!
