Community Collaboration
at it's finest!
Typically, at Francis Court we have a house meeting at the end of each month. We use this time to connect, talk about the upcoming month and share a meal together. For the last two months, we have been unable to meet in person, but we have connected in other ways!
Yesterday, we passed out baskets full of goodies. Included in the baskets were some amazing, homemade, jelly and breads, (pictured above)donated by Linda Dobson. Linda has a new soft-spot for our residents and is dedicated to making our monthly house meetings special. THANK YOU LINDA!
FaithWorks was selected by the Safeway Foundation to receive a $3000 grant through their Nourishing Neighbors Program.With this grant, we will help ensure that our residents have the resources needed to keep food on their tables during the COVID 19 pandemic.

It truly takes a village
Local business 'From the Hearth' made the choice to continue to support the community despite the uncertainties they were facing with the pandemic. For the last two weeks, they have delivered, 30 loaves of fresh, amazing, bread that we have dispersed to our residents. Throughout our 3 programs, we house 28 adults and 30 children and these bread donations have been so appreciated!

Francis Court kiddos received activity kits thanks to support provided by First Five Shasta! Many parents have been struggling to keep their littles busy while sheltering in place. These kits were full of various activities including arts & crafts, play doh, stickers and puzzles. So Much FUN!!!
