Dear Friend of MCF,

I applaud Governor Murphy's decision to reopen state and county parks while still emphasizing the importance of social distancing at these locations. Although I understand the Governor's decision to close parks to protect the health of the community, their closure emphasized more than ever the value and significance of these places to our communities. For me, these attributes only serve to underscore the importance of our mission and remind me that it is more important than ever to save the remaining lands, preserve our farmland, protect wildlife, and ensure all residents have access to green space near their home.

Finally, my sincere thanks to all those that made our Earth Day “Stand with Monmouth” campaign a success. Thanks to all of you, we raised $15,140.00 . These funds allow us to continue our work and help ensure our current level of staffing remains intact during this difficult time.
