CFTC and ESMA Sign Enhanced MOU Related to Certain Recognized Central Counterparties
The CFTC and ESMA today announced the signing of a new Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) regarding cooperation and the exchange of information with respect to certain registered derivatives clearing organizations established in the United States that are central counterparties (CCPs) recognized by ESMA under the European Market Infrastructure Regulation (EMIR).
SEC Concept Release on Certain Fixed Income Trading Platforms
On September 28, the SEC proposed rules to extend Regulations ATS and SCI to Treasuries and other Government Securities Markets and a concept release on electronic FI trading platforms for corporate and muni’s. The filing was published in the Federal Register on December 31, which starts the clock for a 60-day comment period.

Addressing Inequality: What Will You Do?

Cook, provided a useful example last June, outlining a dozen actions he was taking as part of his commitment to the fight for racial justice and equality. It is also about what each of us will do as individuals.”

A mere 22 years old, Amanda joined the likes of Robert Frost and Maya Angelou when she recited her poem, The Hill We Climb.
