To help celebrate our seniors, we want to spotlight them on our website. We hope that you will create a PowerPoint slide (directions below) and send to us. The PowerPoint will continuously loop on the website for all to see.

In addition, the seniors have always had a dress up week their last week on campus. We want to continue this tradition virtually. Please encourage your child to participate and send in their photos.

Also, please don't forget that your child's picture for the virtual graduation must be uploaded into Marching Order by midnight this Sunday, May 3rd. I will send a text message on Friday when honor cords, NHS & IB stoles, and Academy cords are ready for pick-up in our bus loop.

Honor cords go to all seniors with a weighted gpa of 3.5 or higher.

Senior Spotlight

We miss our Seniors and would like to recognize the Class of 2020 on our web page for all of their accomplishments while a student at Nease. We would love for you to create a ONE slide PowerPoint for your student. Please include:

first and last name
favorite Nease memory
plans after graduation (i.e. college, military, work)

We have provided a sample slide for you. You are welcome to be as creative as you like! Senior Example Slide

Once you have created your PowerPoint slide, please email it to Mrs. Cioffi at holly.cioffi@stjohns.k12.fl.us

Due: Tuesday, May 5th

All slides will be combined into a presentation that will be shown on the homepage of the Nease High School website. Thank you for your participation and allowing everyone to celebrate your Senior!

Virtual Senior Dress Up Days

One of our favorite Senior traditions at Nease during their last full week of High School are Senior Dress Up Days. We encourage our Seniors to show us your style. You or your student should DM a photo to Nease Spirit on Instagram. These photos will be shared on the Nease Spirit Instagram and Facebook pages. You may use the social media links included below to find Nease Spirit online. Let's keep the tradition going! Our Senior Spirit Days will be the week of May 4th.

Senior Shirts

Additional senior shirts were ordered before Spring Break. Your student will be notified when the shirts are ready for pick up.

Other Senior News

Seniors, join the Class of 2020 Schoology group for easy access to senior class information. The Schoology access code is: 3X7B-KCXN-32JZZ

We received many emails and phone calls this morning about the picture deadline for the Virtual Graduation and not having honor cords and stoles available for pictures.

Honor cords and NHS stoles have been ordered but not delivered. We have been on the phone today to see when we can expect delivery and then work within our virtual graduation deadlines to give an extension.

Our cords will be delivered next Friday, May 1st.

We will offer pick-up of cords, NHS stoles and IB stoles next Friday evening. Time will be announced and there might not be much notice. It will all depend on what time they are delivered and how quickly we can get everything sorted and ready for pick-up.

The ABSOLUTE latest that we can extend our picture upload is midnight Sunday, May 3rd. There can not be any exceptions!

PLEASE have your child log into Marching Order and phonetically spell their name and record how it is pronounced. The announcers will not wait until our picture uploads are completed. They will start recording names this Monday the 27th.

LAST DAY OF SCHOOL FOR SENIORS IS STILL Tuesday, May 12th.
