Yes, we are open!
We are still shipping out orders at this time.
Office Hours are Monday to Friday from 9am-5pm CST.

We try to keep the website updated with stock status as much as possible. The product listings state at the top in orange text whether the items are In Stock, Out of Stock, or Special Order. If you want to order something that says out of stock or special order, you can contact us to see if we have an estimated timeframe.
In some instances where products have multiple options (various engraving patterns, pc lengths, reed strengths, etc), if one option is out of stock but others are still available, the listing will still say In Stock at the top, but the text body will state in bold print if an option is not currently available.

S ome items may not be available at the moment, as many of our suppliers are currently closed.

Please note that while Canada Post is still operating, they are currently experiencing Christmas-like volumes of parcels in the system, as well as reduced staff and hours at some postal depots which may cause some delays in delivery. They have also suspended services to some International locations for the time being. You can see a full list of the available and suspended services here.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us!

"I have a very unusual Scottish watch to offer you. It never needs a battery or any winding. It has no hands or face of any kind."
"But how can you tell the time?"
"That's Easy! Ask anybody!"

Scottish Trivia

Many people are using this time to learn new skills or brush up on old ones.

If you are interested in learning to play the bagpipes, here are some things to consider.

Learning the bagpipes requires:
-a good quality practice chanter
-tutor book
-formal lessons with a teacher

Practice Chanter:
-is an instrument in its own right
-primary purpose is to learn fingering for bagpipe chanter
-will always be used. Even a skilled piper learns new tunes and fingering on a practice chanter
-can be used to practice when a full set of pipes is impractical (if you live in an apartment for example)

Continue reading to learn the differences between a pipe chanter and practice chanter, options available for sizes and materials, tutor books, and finding an instructor.

We offer an Adult Starter Kit which includes a McCallum PC4 practice chanter, a National Piping Centre Tutor book and CD, as well as a Walsh practice chanter reed. This is a great kit to learn to play the bagpipes.

Shepherd Reeds

" Great reeds for a beginner like me and beyond.  With that said, the easy reeds are very sensitive to pressure so if you have difficulty blowing steady you may [want] to up the strength."
