Pinal County Libraries Remain Closed to the Public
As the Covid-19 crisis continues, libraries throughout Pinal County remain closed to the public.

While town officials and library managers are working on plans to guide their re-openings, the safety of library patrons and staff remains the top priority. At this time, the libraries still do not have specific dates planned for re-opening. The decision will be made on a case-by-case basis, by the towns themselves, with guidance from the Governor, as well as state, county, and federal officials.

Please keep an eye on our website and social media platforms for more information as it becomes available.
Library Check-outs Extended to June 1
With libraries closed in response to the coronavirus outbreak, a lot of checked out material cannot get back to us. But don't worry, libraries will not charge overdue fines on items that come due while we're closed.

We have automatically extended all checkouts until June 1. If you have items checked out, simply hang onto them until it's safe to return to the library.

The same thing goes for items you placed on hold. If you had a title waiting for you to pick up, it will still be there for you when your library re-opens!
Make the Most of Your Library...Digital Books & Movies!
Even if you can't leave home, you can still check out library books! Our digital collections give you access to streaming and downloadable eBooks, eAudiobooks, movies, music, magazines, and television shows, all free with your library card!

  • Hoopla provides streaming movies, TV, and music.

Access all of these great collections through the Library District website, or download the apps and use the services on your tablet or smartphone!

Research Spotlight
Our libraries are fun places with a lot of entertainment to offer, but we also provide great research tools. We offer subscription research databases that you can access for free with your library card.
This month's feature database:

The Tutor.com Learning Suite combines live online tutoring, homework help, and test preparation with powerful diagnostic tools and self-study resources to provide a flexible educational environment designed to meet learners' individual needs. It's the perfect tool to help students continue to learn, even while schools are shut down.

You can find Tutor.com and our other online databases on our website, by clicking the  Research  tab. Or find it in the Research screen on our new mobile app!

[ Please Note : You do need to follow the link (above, or on our website) to get to our tutors. Going directly to tutor.com in your browser won't connect you to our library's service.]
