(1) Enter to Compete in the First-Ever Bellack Library Spelling Bee (Students)

Think you have what it takes to win the Bellack Library Spelling Bee? Show off your inimitable spelling skills on Thursday, July 9 at 7:00 p.m. and vie for the $25 gift card prize! To qualify, take the spelling test by Monday, June 15. The top ten scorers will compete in the final event live on Zoom. Prefer to watch? Register to receive the Zoom link. Only students can compete but all of IHP is welcome to watch.


(2) Student Town Hall – Monday, June 15 (Students)

The next Student Town Hall with President Paula Milone-Nuzzo will be held via Zoom on Monday, June 15 at Noon. If you have questions before, during, or after the Town Hall, you can submit them via Institute Input.


(3) Free Bystander Trainings (Institute Wide)

Hollaback! is holding two free, virtual bystander trainings throughout June. Bystander Intervention to Stop Police Sponsored Violence and Anti-Black Racist Harassment trainings will be held on Friday, June 12 at 3:00 p.m. EDT, Tuesday, June 16 at 4:00 p.m. EDT, Friday, June 19 at 2:00 p.m. EDT, Tuesday, June 23 at 6:00 p.m. EDT, and Saturday, June 27 at 1:00 p.m. EDT. Bystander Intervention Training to Stop Anti-Asian/American and Xenophobic Harassment will be held on Thursday, June 18 at 7:00 p.m. EDT and Thursday, June 25 at 4:00 p.m. You must register in advance for these trainings.


(4) News You Can Use – SAP/EAP Is Here to Help with Stress (Institute Wide)

This is an extraordinarily stressful time due to the COVID-19 pandemic and civil unrest. The SAP/EAP remains available for confidential support by telephone and telehealth visits. Additionally, we are offering free mini-sessions on relaxation techniques weekdays at Noon. IHP students, Mass General Brigham employees, and household members – please take a minute to pre-register and join us for as many as you wish.
