Where has the year gone??!
As we head into fall, we want to thank you all for the great joy you've given us this year.

We've experienced a lot of growth and change over the last few years and we couldn't be more grateful for your trust and confidence in us. It is truly an honor to know, support, and work with each and every one of our clients.

Due to increased risk of fraud and theft, our home office Vanderbilt Financial is now requiring that we verify all money transfer requests over the phone. When making a request via email, please also expect a call from us to confirm your request.

Some notes from us on best practices:
  • Never share sensitive information with us via email or email attachment. If you need to share something with us, please ask us for instructions for a safer transfer method.

  • If you're not expecting a DocuSign request from us, do not open the email! We've seen DocuSign fakes popping up recently that are phishing attacks.

  • Expect that we may ask you to verify your identity with us when you call in to ask for information about your account. We want to be as safe as possible. Please don't think that because we're asking you to verify your identity that we don't trust you!

  • We will never ask for your password for any account.

  • If you're not sure the origin of an email or document, do not open it!


When in doubt, verify and double check.

As some of you may know, in her spare time (spare time? who is she?), Jina volunteers with the MN Divestment Coalition to petition that our (MN) State Board of Investments divest from The Carbon Underground 200 top carbon holding companies.

On August, 25th, Jina testified in front of Board Members Governor Walz, State Auditor Blaha, Attorney General Ellison, and Secretary of State Simon. You can watch Jina's testimony here. She starts at about the 30 minute mark.
