OffiCenters Monthly Newsletter
Featuring Opportunities for Creative Collaboration

Notes From Lori
'Tis the season for a quick sprint to the end of the year! Thanks-giving was late and the holidays are approaching quickly. I hope you take the time to register for this year's holiday luncheons with all of your coworking community. There will be a lunch at every location and I highly recommend that you register for your home center and if you can make another date, all the merrier! You can find the registration links to the right under upcoming events. Last year, one of our members, Bud Sandberg, joined me at all seven locations. Break out your stretchy pants and make it a Fa La-La-Lasagna spectacular. It's a great way to meet new people and make contacts for the new year.

Thanks to all who participated in Give to the Max Day. Our OneCommunity partners are grateful for your generosity. We helped the Kare11 Food Fight by giving our donut day money to #TeamRandy (Shaver) for the Second Harvest Food Shelf. We will continue to donate to the food shelf during December. When you give up your donuts, remember that is helping to feed local families in need.

We are gearing up for a new year and a new decade. Unbelievable! While at our lunches or by sending us an email, I am asking YOU to give us your best business tip for the new year. We will feature the best of the best in the January 2020 Center Stage Newsletter and This Week @ OffiCenters.

With that in mind, I want to offer you the opportunity to promote your business in 2020 by submitting blogs that we will feature in our monthly Newsletter that goes out to over 1,500 members in our community and in This Week @ OffiCenters that is sent out every Monday to close to 3,000 business professionals. We will link to our website, giving us both amazing SEO potential. What do you want to share? Make it timely, on trend, interesting and we will share with all! Our open percentages are well above the average, sometimes over 40%. This material can help us all for the new year. Let's share blog posts, book information, tips and tricks that can help us all be better business people.

In this hectic month, do not forget to take time for you and your family. Our closest relationships sometimes suffer during busy times. This month, make some special memories. Give to  Hats and Mittens or to the charity of your choice. I know as I get older, it is about having experiences together rather than a gift. I look forward to having wonderful experiences with all of you during our holiday events. Raise a glass and give a cheer! We made it through the year and it has been so much fun to Work Awesome together. Have a safe and happy holiday! My love and gratitude for your business, your trust and your referrals. YOU are the best part of Working Awesome at OffiCenters!

The Ripple Effect!

No matter how big or small, random acts of kindness lift the spirits of everyone they effect and create a positive ripple in our community. Together we can make our world a better place for all of us. Last year, after winning an OffiCenters survey contest, Michelle Stimpson of LifeShine was eager to pay it forward. She shared with us how the $100 prize blessed others and we had to share! Our community is AWESOME!

November 2018 ($20)   A man in the grocery store check-out line, the day before Thanksgiving. He was buying pie, whipped cream and other holiday things and I asked if I could take care of his bill. He was thrilled.
December 2018  The man in front of me in line at lunch was dressed in a military uniform, and I asked if I could buy his lunch. He wouldn't let me, but he felt the love!
February 2019 ($10)  It was so fun to buy lunch for an Eden Prairie Police Officer and tell him how much I appreciated him keeping our community safe!
April 2019 ($20)  It was a thrill to have two firefighters next to me in line at the deli! They were delighted to have their lunch paid for and seemed to enjoy my appreciation for them and their work.
August 2019 ($20)  I loved being able to give the sweet neighbor girls a big bill at their lemonade stand!
September ($10) This funded coffee-time with a dear friend in celebration of a brand new year, after she survived a brutal journey with cancer.
November 2019 ($20)  It felt so good to leave an extra big tip for awesome server at a restaurant!
