Miracles, Gifts of the Spirit Rumble in NextGen CohortNextGenCohortJuly
By Jeff Farmer and Leilani Haywood

Faith for the supernatural was released in members of our NextGen Cohort (NGC) after reading PCCNA's book, Miracle Invasion . In two recent conference calls, co-hosted by Jeff Farmer and Sterling Brackett, the NGC discussed the book's impact on their lives, their experiences with the gifts of the Spirit, and shared ministry updates. Here is a brief overview.

Mike Santiago, AG pastor, said the book inspired a "Wind & Fire" preaching series. Two ladies were healed and left their canes at the altar. Caleb Brown, Ministry Training Network, shared his experience giving over 200 words of knowledge in one service during his ministry in 11 countries. Levi Switzer, ACOP Canada, was moved to tears while reading Miracle Invasion in the barber shop where he works.  He was compelled to share with customers.

Stephen Martin, Great Commandment Network, was convicted to press more diligently into the gifts of the Spirit as he leads worship and ministers. The book inspired Tres' Ward, IPHC, who is traveling and ministering on behalf of Immanuel College, to create video footage to draw high schoolers into the supernatural workings of the Spirit. Charlie Scruggs, COGOP, has stepped out in faith, relocating to the East coast to become a pastor.

Sarah Quinlan, OBF Canada, is mobilizing 18 to 20-year-olds in her church for prayer. Some have never prayed before. The prayer meetings, designed for millennials, are starting now to attract people in their 30s and 40s. Chris Hall, PFWB lead pastor, said he has had to go to two services because of church growth, and Aaron Mix-Ross, PAOC associate pastor, said his church is breaking ground for a new building.  Josh Hogancamp is leading EF in an initiative to multiply leaders.

Shalane Wellard, IAOGI Canada, usually ministers at the piano in prophetic worship, but the Spirit has called her out to engage in altar ministry as well. Angela Martinez is leading the NextGen track at the UPCAG national conference. After ten years as an executive/youth pastor, Andrew Farmer is leveraging his MBA to become a kingdom resource through real estate.

Eliott Reyna, Grupo Unidad, has been ministering this summer to over 800 campers. Eli Bonilla, NHCLC and COG, is mobilizing NexGen Hispanic leaders for regional conferences.  Juli Prieto joined the call from Argentina where she was taking a break from her full-time, vocational ministry at Foursquare HQ in LA.  Harris Holsapple, OBC pastor, experienced a powerful visitation of the Spirit in his church. Preaching was cancelled as the Holy Spirit moved upon the congregation and the gifts of the Spirit were manifest.

The conference calls were closed by Dr. Kerry Wood - pastor, church planter, and TKU professor. Wood introduced The Gifts of the Spirit for the Next Generation, which he authored.   His book is next in line for the NGC to read together and discuss.

ECFA Accreditation Renewal ApprovedEFCA
"Ministries are applying for ECFA accreditation at a record pace," writes Dan Busby, president of the Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability. "This is because of a growing desire of Christ-centered organizations to model high principles of governance, finances, and stewardship that are far beyond what the law requires."

Congratulations to PCCNA for its recent accreditation renewal!  ECFA accreditation enhances trust because members choose verifiable accountability and commit to high integrity.
