Reader Beware!  Rabbi Kedar's Email Has Been Hacked!

Rabbi Kedar's email has been hacked.  The false emails will appear to be asking for gift cards or money.  Please do not respond to or forward these messages.  While occasionally BJBE does request donations of gift cards for Emergency Response Campaigns, these requests will be very specific as to their purpose and will not ask for a response via email.

Jewish Learning Center, Chava Center, and Youth

If your child does not yet attend an overnight camp, and you are thinking about your options, the clergy and Missy Bell recommend OSRUI, Olin Sang Ruby Union Institute, our Reform Movement's camp in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. We are honored to be your partners in providing a Jewish education for your children for nine months of the year; we feel OSRUI is our best partner in this during the summer months. It's also an incredible place where our children can explore who they are, and make lifelong friends.

Families are invited to join Cantor Frost and Missy Bell for a day trip to Wisconsin THIS Sunday, July 28! We'll begin our day with an 11am tour of OSRUI (where we'll get to say hi to Rabbi Fenster), then enjoy lunch and ice cream in Oconomowoc, then go fruit picking before returning home.

July Tzedakah:
Luggage for Freedom's goal is to provide a sense of dignity to women who are staying at and transitioning out of domestic violence and homeless shelters, by giving them a suitcase packed with some personal and household items. Luggage for Freedom provides gently used luggage packed with new towels, new sheets, and new toiletries to women leaving local domestic violence shelters to start their lives anew. We also provide backpacks filled with books and stuffed animals for children. Luggage for Freedom has an incredible ability to directly impact women and children in a positive way, at a time when they are most vulnerable.

PADS Needs Some Help...Can You Assist?
We are in need of a commercial laundry to do the linens from our PADS site at FPCD.  This would include pickup/dropoff at the church every week from October through April.  There are about 300-350 pounds of laundry every week.  Do you know someone or have any connections with someone who knows someone?  Please contact Ruth Miller with any leads.
