Leadership Contra Costasm
Accepting Applications for the 2019 - 2020 Season

PROGRAM INTERVIEWS IN PROGRESS

Sponsored by the  Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce Leadership Contra Costa sm (LCC), the Bay Area's premier countywide leadership program, accepts 28-32 individuals from throughout the county with diverse backgrounds to participate in the program. LCC is geared to people who want to make a difference in the communities in which they live and work.  
For more than 30 years Leadership Contra Costasm has been helping identify and prepare community leaders. With an alumni roster of more than 800 graduates, including Mayor of Walnut Creek Cindy Silva, former Mayors Loella Haskew, Justin Wedel, and Kathy Hicks, former Assemblywoman Lynne Leach, former Concord Mayor, Lou Rosas; Martinez Mayor Rob Schroder; and Ret. Superior Court Judge Harlan Grossan, this program has proven to be an asset to the community and society.

The fifth annual Walnut Creek Oktoberfest returns Saturday, October 19 to beautiful Civic Park in downtown Walnut Creek. This popular community event offers fun for the entire family and attracts nearly 10,000 attendees from all over the East Bay to enjoy a robust Bier Garden, international music and top local bands, gourmet food, arts and crafts booths, Kinder Platz/Kids Zone, Autobahn, and special attractions.
 
We are very excited about this year's Walnut Creek Oktoberfest and the opportunities it offers our Chamber and community members to showcase their business, products and services.
