The City and County of San Francisco Emergency Operations Center has identified food distribution as a major priority, and  there is extreme need for assistance in operating food pantries across the City and County of San Francisco.  One of the organizations in need of support is the SF-Marin Food Bank which is currently operating 17 pop up pantries at various locations and times. Staff, volunteers or community members that are currently unable to work from home or just interested in how they can help, are highly encouraged to commit to supporting the food bank with their time and skills. Even one shift a week could have a profound impact in our community. This support is essential, safe, and very rewarding.

Volunteers can find opportunities at https://www.sfmfoodbank.org/community-volunteer-support/
