I hope this initial summer break issue finds you and your family enjoying the summer so far! We are still operating on our summer schedule being open Monday - Thursday from 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. and closed on Fridays. All visitors to the school need to have an appointment to conform with health and safety requirements. Please note that the campus will be closed the week of June 29th to July 3rd and will reopen on Monday, July 6th.
Our school is a distribution site for summer break meals. Summer meals are distributed Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to noon. Students and/or a parent or guardian can pick up breakfast and lunch. On Thursday, they can pick up two days of breakfast and lunch (
additional information and menus).
We have sent home student report cards. Upon receipt, please review with your child at your earliest convenience. Thank you.
As for this issue, we have included a large number of images from our year-end parade as this first-ever event of its kind at Tildenville was a smashing success. I thought that taken together, these photos do a pretty good job of capturing our school spirit despite the challenges of Covid-19 and distance learning during the final nine week quarter of 2019-2020.
Finally, best wishes for a safe and happy upcoming July 4th holiday. If you are traveling out on the roadways or using fireworks of any kind at home, please practice safety at all times. Have a great week!

A Special Thank You from a Parent . . .
"I just wanted to take a minute to thank you for the past 5 years. Leandria has grown academically and emotionally in this journey through elementary. I found this picture and thought you might like it. Thank you and have a blessed summer."

Food For Thought at Summer Break . . .
1. Most widely spoken languages in the world:
|
2. Sparklers throw off heat hot enough to melt many metals. Be careful on July 4th!
|
3. Education leads to less chances of being out of work and better paychecks. This pattern repeats year after year!
|

Closing Images for the Week . . .
