Because Lutherans pitch in: Big thanks to Evelyn D. for playing the piano during the worship recording this week. What would we do with out you? Shout out to Ellie K. for lending her talents to the service this week, as well. Putting worship elements together ahead of time lacks a lot of glamour and glitz, but with everyone pitching in to do their part we git 'er done! We are in this together. WE ARE BETTER TOGETHER. We may be apart, but we are not alone.

Devotional Podcast
|
|
There are many heroes of the faith, people we admire and wish to be. However, there are even more ordinary people of faith—those doing what they can with what they have to make a difference. We’ve selected 16 bold stories of those often overlooked in our biblical narratives. Using visual art and prompts for reflection, we hope to dig deep into the worlds of these characters, entering their stories with curiosity and openness to what they might teach us. As we journey with these characters, may they remind us that we all play a role in shaping God’s story of redemption and grace. May they awaken us to the faces of our faith in our world today. May they encourage us to know that no action is ever too small to make a difference.
Join Pastor Kelsie, Pastor Marcus, Pastor Megan (Spirit of Joy), Pastor Andy (First Presbyterian), and Pastor Paul (St. John, Marion) each week for the Faces of Our Faith devotional podcast.
Devotional Booklets are available to download at the link below. If you need a print version please contact the office at info@emauels-seguin.org.

Sunday Worship is still online and on the radio.
At the September 1, 2020 meeting the Emanuel's Congregation Council decided to give a trial run of three, in-person worship services scheduled for September 27th, October 25th, and November 29th. The plan is for worship to begin at 8:00 a.m. on the lawn at the corner of Travis and Mountain Streets. Announcements to come with more specific details. Please see the updated 2020 Covid-19 Return to Church Plan outline below for more details on worship specifics, small group ministries, and other gathering policies.
