April 2020 Newsletter
The last two months have been stressful times for both businesses and families. Even with the announcement of Alberta's relaunch strategy, there is still much uncertainty of how to properly and safely re-open businesses, bring back employees, and if you're employee, do you feel comfortable going back to work.

The Chamber is confident that Albertan's will remain resilient, resourceful and responsible. We know that employers will put the appropriate measures in place to protect their employees, and make all who enter their businesses comfortable and confident that they're safe.

The Chamber is keeping our COVID-19 resource page on our website up to date as new information comes out and we're stockpiling any resources we find there as well, make sure you check it out.
Alberta's Relaunch Strategy
The Alberta Government has announced their plan to safely relaunch the economy from COVID-19.

The GPRC wants to echo the the message from the Government of Alberta: "We must ensure the sacrifices we have already made are not wasted. To be successful, we must stay vigilant to slow the spread: follow public health measures, practice physical distancing and good hygiene, and continue acting responsibly."

The plan to move forward requires careful monitoring and  respecting all guidelines  outlined by the chief medical officer of health.

Enhanced infection prevention and control measures, including physical distancing requirements of at least 2 metres, will remain in place throughout all stages.
PPE & Sanitizer
As our members are re-opening their stores, we know they will be looking to acquire masks, plexi-glass shields, hand sanitizing stations, disinfectant and other products to keep their stores and businesses safe for their employees, customers and themselves. If you have any of these items to help out your fellow business owners, we encourage you to post in our new MarketSpace page on our website.

You can add listings from your Member Profile, by logging in here: https://business.gprchamber.ca/login

We already have one listing in there from Big Sky Media for their Fever Testing Kit, check out their listing and add your own if you have something to offer other businesses as they reopen.
