3rd Year's a Charm
Last year (remember that?!) we renewed our commitment to this community and made it through 2020 with the help of our extended family of readers: you.

Our birthday celebration this year — marking our 3rd year! serving our fellow booklovers of all ages — will feel a little more special, with open doors & warm greetings.

Whether you are shopping early for the holidays, stopping in for a little something for yourself, or just love supporting your local small business, we hope you'll join us in celebrating the magic that this little shop has made come to life.

 Libro.fm Listen:
Audiobook Pick
Bookseller Ernio — who lives for Libro.fm audiobooks — has been recommending Station Eleven since before "pandemic" was a daily-used word. The chilling and epic saga by Emily St. John Mandel — soon to hit HBO as a miniseries — is one helluva page-turner and the audio version holds a well-lit candle to the flame of the text.

A great listen if you can stomach a close-to-home apocalypse.
Book to Look for:
Pre-order Pick
Local author Nancy Tandon makes her debut with the middle grade novel The Way I Say It. At the center of the story is a sixth grader with a speech impediment — still having trouble with his "r" sounds — who happens to be named Rory.

Amid other pre-teen struggles, his ex-bestie had a terrible accident in which he suffered a brain injury. Will they revive their friendship? Can they?
