RATED S ANNOUNCES FIRST SHOW DATES FOR THEIR INAUGURAL 2021-22 SEASON
(SCTC-Ashburn) Ashburn’s own Rated S sketch comedy troupe, best known for combining poor taste and bad judgement with hilarious results, has announced their first ever, live and in-person show dates for their inaugural 2021-2022 season at StageCoach Theatre in Ashburn, VA.

Rated S LIVE! debuts on Friday, October 22nd with a second show slated for Friday, November 5th. So you say you’ve been trying for years to get tickets to a certain late night TV show live from NY? Well, here’s your chance to experience world-crass comedy without having to trek all the way up to NYC. Original sketches! Digital Shorts! Live music performances! ! Tell all your friends but don’t tell your mother – It’s A Skit Showtm. Tickets on sale now for in-theater and live-streaming. (Some material may be inappropriate for the humorless)

Don Lorah has worked with the StageCoach Bandits Improv Troupe for several years.In this comedic one-act skit, he combines his years of experience as a classroom teacher, time as an improvisor, and a lifetime achievement in being inappropriate. He will go through a “typical” school day and audience members will participate as students. Join us for what will surely be a day on the wild side!

Jean is sleepwalking through her life until she answers a dead man’s cell phone. It turns out to be a wake-up call that sends her on a date with the dead man’s brother, a drinking binge with his wife, and a mysterious rendezvous with his mistress. Not to mention trips to the afterlife and the black market. In this quirky modern adventure, Jean reconnects to her own spirit and learns that life is for the living.

Sarah Ruhl gained widespread recognition for her play The Clean House, which won the prestigious Susan Smith Blackburn Prize in 2004 and was a Pulitzer Prize finalist in 2005. She also won the 2006 MacArthur Fellowship for “creating vivid and adventurous theatrical works that poignantly juxtapose the mundane aspects of daily life with mythic themes of love and war.” Other plays include Eurydice and Passion Play.

A Murder Mystery Party

The wicked, selfish, and brazen Jolene Johnson has been murdered and someone at the meeting of the Harper Valley PTA did it! With so many members with an axe to grind, it could be just-about anyone. Could it be the nerdy Science teacher, the lecherous Principal, the enigmatic custodian, or any of the teachers or parents in attendance? Could it be YOU?

Saturday, October 23 at Oatlands, 20850 Oatlands Plantation Lane, Leesburg, VA 20175.
Doors open at 6:00pm. Show begins at 6:30pm. Dinner will begin at 7:00pm. The show resumes after dinner.
