PHASE II
Phase 2 Directives from the Arkansas Department of Health are in place in Hot Springs Village. Amenity plans for pickleball, the outdoor pool, fitness center and indoor pool under these directives have been put in place.

Amenities enter Phase 2  
Hot Springs Village's Pickleball and Recreation Rental Facilities have entered Phase 2 of reopening. The reopening is based on guidelines set by the Arkansas Department of Health and White House. To learn more, click the links below:

State of Arkansas  
 
Arkansas continues to see the number of COVID-19 cases in the state grow. Since yesterday, the number of cases in the state has grown by 522, bringing the total to 16,083. Of that number, 5,063 are considered active with 106 in nursing homes, 642 in correctional facilities and 4,315 in the community.  
 
Of the new cases, 85 were next door to Garland County in Hot Springs County. The majority of those cases were at a correctional facility.
 
Since yesterday, there have been two more deaths due to COVID-19 have been recorded. That brings the total number of deaths to 227 in the state.  There are 237 people hospitalized in the state with 61 on ventilators.  
 
Gov. Asa Hutchinson talked about the number of hospital beds available in the state. Of the total hospital bed capacity of 8,917 in the state, with 6,365 (71.4 percent) occupied. Of the 970 ICU beds, 748 (77.7 percent) are occupied. Of the states 894 ventilators, 311 (34.8 percent) are being used.  
 
Arkansas also hit its goal as far as statewide testing for June over the last 24 hours. So far in June, 120,053 people have been tested. The positivity rate is 6.3 percent.

Saline & Garland Counties 
As of Monday, Saline County, 210 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Saline County and 7,592 have tested negative. Of those testing positive, 171 have recovered. The death total remains at two.  
 
In Garland County, 180 people have tested positive for COVID-19 and 5,542 have tested negative. Of the people infected, 155 have recovered and one has died.
