AJF OFFERS POST-SCHMUCK SUPPORT TO ITS MEMBERS
The untimely cancellation of Schmuck* due to the coronavirus has set off an unavoidable domino effect for many galleries, artists, enthusiasts, and organizations, including AJF, which had to cancel all of the programming we were going to present in Munich this year. Of course we understand that this decision was necessary and not made lightly, yet we are saddened by the impact it's had on the entire art jewelry community.
In light of this unfortunate situation, AJF would like to do what it can to support our community, even if it's in a small way. We wish to support AJF member galleries and artists who were planning to exhibit during Schmuck and Munich Jewellery Week by producing a special edition of On Offer—one of AJF’s most popular features.
- Member galleries, we invite you to feature the concept of your exhibition and also share five images of work you'd like to promote
- AJF maker members who would have been in an independent exhibition not associated with a gallery, we will publish your name as well as a link to your website, where you can feature the work you would have presented
- AJF'S 2020 Young Artist Award winner and finalists will also be highlighted
If you are an AJF member gallery who planned to exhibit in Munich (or who still is exhibiting) this year, or an AJF member maker who would have been exhibiting (or who still is exhibiting) in Munich this year independent of a gallery, please
fill out this form
. Once AJF receives your information, we will contact you for more information to be included in the special edition of On Offer.
With warmest regards,
From everyone at AJF
*Schmuck is cancelled; Munich Jewellery Week is not. We apologize for the confusion.
