Julie certified to teach ZentangleŽ in 2015. Having lived in England, South Africa, Japan, and now Maryland, her tangling is strongly influenced by her travels. Her classes often honor the work of renowned artists and architects, or explore language, culture and customs, with her burgeoning library shelves attesting to this.
After over eleven years of providing home staging and interior design services, Julie recently closed Harmony Interiors to pursue teaching ZentangleŽ on a more regular basis.
As two time Tangle U faculty, Julie has had the privilege teaching at the annual CZT conference both as a "core" and an "optional" class teacher!
Julie has recently been featured as a guest on Zentangle’s Family Tree Blog. If interested you can find it here: https://zentangle.com/blogs/blog/czt-family-tree-julie-allison

The Japanese fan, or Sensu, is steeped in history and tradition. Learn about this Far Eastern accessory as you explore tangles created by Julie, inspired by her love of Japan and washi paper designs.
A working knowledge of Zentangle. A lot of new tangles being introduced in this two-hour class.

Note: After registration, a two-page PDF template will be emailed to you. There are two choices; the first is black-lined for use with your black Micron 01; the second is a grey-scale template so that you can trace over the outline in another color Micron pen if preferred, allowing you to print only your desired template.
