Resource Update for Small Businesses
See below for recent updates on the Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) program, Main Street Lending Program, and the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).

  • The SBA is reopening the EIDL Emergency Advance for all eligible businesses. More information can be found here.

  • Banks are now able to register to participate in the Federal Reserve’s Main Street Lending program. This may be a useful resource for larger nonprofits (50 to 15,000 employees) who were unable to use the Paycheck Protection Program. Click here for details.

  • The PPP's forgiveness process has been found to be very complicated for smaller applicants. Senators sent a letter asking Treasury and SBA to streamline the application for loans under $250,000, which should result in a more straightforward, one-page application.

Additional information and resources for businesses in response to the COVID-19 pandemic can be found on the Chamber's website .
