This Sunday's gospel message is about hospitality and the the value of welcoming "the other."
Act on my behalf, Jesus says, and know that those who receive you also receive me and God who sent me.
Jesus also teaches us to
welcome Christ who
comes
to us through others. Look for Christ in the "other." Who are the "othered" Christ is inviting you to welcome?
May these summer days bring healing, rest, opportunities for generosity and justice, and manifestation of God's bountiful love.
