As a constituent on the Advocacy Committee distribution list, we thought you would be interested in the following announcement from the Junior League of Wilmington. There will be significant effort this fall, as the General Assembly reconvenes, and many of the issues we're following (early childhood, human trafficking, domestic violence, pay equity). This training will support our efforts in support of these important issues.
The Junior League of Wilmington (DE) is hosting a free non-partisan Advocacy 101 virtual training on September 10 at 7:00 p.m. Melissa Hopkins from Delaware Alliance of Nonprofit Advancement (DANA) will be lead a training on how to work with your legislators, develop the skills and tools to advocate for your passions, and drive change in your community.
