My friends in Christ,
As we walk through these days that have profoundly changed our lives and our world, we must ask ourselves: “What good fruit will this time produce for us and for our world?”
Will we look at things differently? Will our priorities change? Will we have more reverence for life, more compassion for one another, and more time for the Divine Mystery intersecting with our Human Mystery?
Please may that answer be “Yes!”
Our “Sheltering in Place” is temporary for us, but there are many women and men, in Religious Orders, who have chosen this as a way of life.
Let us listen to their words…they will help all of us to ensure that we have made good use of these days and that we will bear good fruit for ourselves and for our world.
