"First and foremost, something that has historically been absent from stands against racial injustice is education. It is virtually impossible to advocate for something you don’t understand...Educating ourselves and understanding gives us the power to overcome any hate that we may face...Today, we have the opportunity to transform the narrative that Black Americans have lived for so long, to mend what is broken. Our mission is to enhance the art and academic programs at the internationally recognized Alexander W. Dreyfoos School of the Arts. And to that end we will continue to fund scholarships, supplies, and lessons for our students and bring in talented guest artists, all of diverse backgrounds.
