Happy Holidays

I wish all of our students, families, teachers, and staff members a happy holiday season.  Our students continue to perform well in the classroom while developing their artistic, musical, and athletic talents.  This growth happens because of their hard work and the dedication of our entire school community.  To help celebrate the season, please encourage your child to support student council and NRMS by showing his or her school spirit next week.
  • Monday - Throwback to Summer (wear sunglasses, leis, t-shirts, etc.)
  • Tuesday - Ugly Sweater Day
  • Wednesday - Holiday Workshop (this is a competition to see which grade has the most school spirit)
    • Grade 5 - Elves
    • Grade 6 - Candy Canes
    • Grade 7 - Reindeer
    • Grade 8 - Santa
  • Thursday - Winter Wonderland White-out (wear as much white as you can)
  • Friday - Cabin Day (wear flannels, fuzzy socks, gloves, etc.)
Again, I hope everyone enjoys Winter Break and the holidays with family and friends.   As always, please do not hesitate to contact your child's teacher, school counselor, grade level principal, or me with any questions throughout the year.

Important Notes:

Washington D.C. Extended Field Trip
The 8th grade extended field trip to Washington D.C. is May 6-8.  Please know that the second payment of $140.00 is due on Friday, January 10.

CCP
There will be a College Credit Plus Information night on Thursday, January 9 at 7:00 PM in the NRHS PAC.  Any families interested in learning more about the program should plan to attend.

Yearbooks
Yearbooks for the 2019/2020 school year can be ordered now.  Please click  here  and enter code 42802N.  Please know that  March 31, 2020  is last day to buy a yearbook online before the price goes from $22.00 to $26.00.   The final day to purchase a year book is April 3, 2020. 

PTA
The next NRMS PTA meeting is on Tuesday, January 14 at 9:30 AM at the NR Public Library.
