We've come through a lot together over the past couple of months, haven't we?
So many of us have taken on burdens we didn't know we were capable of - things that would have seemed inconceivable only a few short months ago now seem inconsequential. Many of us have suffered immense personal tragedies during this time, and yet, somehow, we continue to get up every morning and pull our families together.
I want to honor each and every parent this week for your incredible, unfathomable strength through this crisis. Know that whatever you're still struggling with, it's okay - there will be time to fix it later. For now, I hope you'll be able to take a moment to reflect on how amazing you are.
This weekend - if you can - try to take just one extra moment to celebrate yourself. That might be an extra piece of brownie, five more minutes in the bathtub, or even just allowing yourself one more episode of your latest binge watch. Try to allow your partner (if you have one) that extra moment to celebrate themselves, too. Thank one another for the sacrifices you've made to keep your family moving forward (or even treading water) right now.
Thinking of you and your families this week - take care.
