Can the SBIF Benefit Your Business?
Over the last twenty years, The City's Small Business Improvement Fund (SBIF) has invested more than $100M in small businesses all over Chicago.
SBIF grants for commercial and industrial companies, and property owners provide reimbursement for 25%, 50%, or 75% of permanent building improvements such as storefront renovation, building systems, interior remodeling, and roof replacement. Projects must be preapproved, and applicants must have a valid city business license, current with property taxes, and clear of City indebtedness. For information.

WIDE OPEN SPACES..A MURAL QUEST
|
|
Chicago's bridges, buildings, train stations, and more are colorful canvases for thousands of square feet of colorful murals. Some tell a story, others beautify a corner - like the one above at 2912 N. Milwaukee Avenue. With the help of the
City of Chicago's Mural Registry - which can be sorted by zip code, ward, artist's name, and more - and the articles below, a pleasant summer day can be spent enjoying outdoor art.*
