Celebrating 4th of July 2020, will be quite different without the traditional parades, bandstand concerts and fireworks all around our beautiful lake. The weather is warm and the health indicators that are causing red alerts elsewhere are making New Englanders cautiously optimistic. This is not a time to let down your guard, but to use what we’re learned over the past three months to make the next three and beyond, more manageable.
Those masked protesters had the right idea: do what you must, as safely as possible. Then enjoy fun, games and holiday picnics with family and friends!
If shopping tempts you... Sunapee Harbor is open. Browse through Wild Goose Country Store or Harborside Trading Co. Take a jaunt up Edgemont Road to the Rock Shop and Deck Dock.
Need a bit of tasty sustenance? Stacy’s Smoothies, Fenton’s Landing, The Anchorage, Wildwood Smokehouse and the Quack Shack are open to serve you. Extra guests? call Sunapee Harbor Cottages to accommodate them.
There’s no better way to enjoy the lake views than from the deck of the MV Mt. Sunapee or Kearsarge?
