Spevak Speaks About Addiction at White House Convening
|
|
At a June 25 Office of National Drug Control Policy convening at the White House, Christopher Spevak, MD, MPH, JD, professor of clinical anesthesiology at Georgetown University Medical Center, spoke about expanding the addiction workforce and access to treatment across health care systems. The meeting was attended by national medical, health systems and insurance leaders, in collaboration with the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the American College of Academic Addiction Medicine.
