This scholarship represents a lasting commitment to future generations of St. Andrews’ students. Paul’s legacy emerged through his steadfast commitment to the educational mission and values embedded in every St. Andrews alumnus. He is the quintessential servant leader who lead through his quiet example, patience, and unwavering devotion. “Giving by direct mail has proven to be the most effective method of giving by both former and current members,” said Doug Calhoun, Alumni Council President.
Almost seventy percent have used the response form of the special proposal package to ask alumni leaders to consider a gift or pledge. In addition, both Doug and council member Marty Martin leading the effort, are seeking volunteers among the council membership to assist with making short follow-up calls to increase participation in this very, very special fund drive. It’s not everyday a longtime SAU alumni and University President as distinguished as Paul, is honored. Call or email Stanton Cadow, the new Vice-President of Institutional Advancement at 910-277-5769 or cadowst@sa.edu today to sign-up.
It is hoped everyone will find a way to give to this initiative, honor Paul and build up Knight Nation.
