Northern Nevada Remembering 9/11: The Nevada Veterans Coalition will be hosting a 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony at the Northern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Saturday, September 11, 2021, beginning at 8:00 A.M.
 
Southern Nevada POW/MIA Day: You are cordially invited to attend two significant events in September 2021. Nellis Air Force Base in southern Nevada is hosting the 2021 National Prisoner of War and Missing in Action Recognition Ceremony on Friday, September 17th. The event begins at 8:00 A.M. with a reception immediately following the ceremony.  Read More

Major Announcement on Mistaken VA Form 10812 Rejections  
The Board of Veterans’ Appeals has learned that a limited number of veterans may have had their Board Appeal forms [VA Form 10182, Decision Review Request: Board Appeal (Notice of Disagreement] mistakenly rejected for being untimely. 
Benefits Updates for Post 9/11 Veterans  
For many years, Post 9/11 veterans who served in Iraq/Afghanistan and at bases in the region supporting operations there, raised concerns about the potential for exposure to toxic materials from the burn pits located on their bases. Read More
