Spring 2022 Course Registration
|
|
Undergraduate Spring 2022 Course registration start dates:
- Tuesday, October 26: all Seniors (90 credits and above)
- Monday, November 1: all Juniors (58-89.99 credits), and Seniors
- Monday, November 8: all Sophomores (24-57.99 credits), Juniors, and Seniors

Monday, November 15: all 1st year (0-23.99 credits), Sophomores, Juniors, Seniors
Non-matriculated undergraduate registration begins Monday, November 22, 2021.

College of Science & Mathematics Dean's Distinguished Speaker Series
|
CSM is pleased to host distinguished speaker, Dr. Rhodora Romero-Aldemita, for two talks on November 15. Dr. Romero- Aldemita is a recipient of numerous international awards for her work in agricultural biotechnology and sustainability. Currently, she serves as the Director of the International Service for the Acquisition of Agri-Biotech Applications, and the Director of the Global Knowledge Center on Crop Biotechnology.
Both of the following talks will be held on Monday, November 15 in hybrid format:

Goldwater Scholarship 2022
|
The Barry Goldwater Scholarship application for 2022 has opened. This scholarship opportunity is for students “who intend to pursue research careers in the natural sciences, mathematics and engineering.” The Barry Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Foundation was established by the U.S. Congress in 1986 to help ensure “that the U.S. is producing the number of highly-qualified professionals the Nation needs in these critical fields.”
This program awards scholarships of up to $7,500/year to current sophomores and juniors for their remaining two or one years, respectively, of undergraduate education.
Eligible students must:
- Be current Sophomores or Juniors
- Be U.S. citizens or permanent residents (who intend to become U.S. citizens)
- Have earned a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
- Successful candidates plan to pursue Ph.D. degrees and already have extensive research experience.
Each University may nominate only 4 students to the national competition. More information

NIDDK Postbaccalaureate Scholars Program
|
Attention undergraduate seniors and recent college graduates! The NIDDK Distinguished Postbaccalaureate Scholars Program is for STEM graduates who wish to pursue full-time, paid research for one to two years in a research lab/clinic in NIDDK in Bethesda, MD or Phoenix, AZ. NIDDK researchers explore basic biological processes and clinical research on health conditions that disproportionately burden underserved communities. Completed applications (including three letters of recommendation) must be received by 5 pm EST, December 31, 2021. Learn more

The Office of Pre-Health Programs supports students interested in pursuing a health professions degree after Rowan. This includes students pursuing medicine, dentistry, occupational therapy, optometry, physical therapy, physician assistant (associate), podiatry, veterinary medicine, or any healthcare profession.
Services include pre-health advising, resources, quality programming, and much more. It is important to access our services by creating a personal file to receive individualized support toward a path to a health profession. Please create a file with the office by completing the Office Pre-Health Student Information Form. Once the Student Information Form is complete, you will be notified of our upcoming workshops and events. We also welcome you to make an appointment with our pre-health advisor.
