STILL TIME TO REGISTER!
DOMESTIC VIOLENCE:
HOW TO RECOGNIZE IT AND HOW TO HELP
Wednesday, October 27 at 7pm on Zoom
As a follow-up to this program, there will be opportunities to support Project WomanGood both financially and with donations of gently used clothing, used books, and other items for a vintage shop Julie owns. Watch our website for details.
NCJW is so proud to launch 73Forward: A collective framework for Jewish action on abortion justice. Join us for this important digital launch event to hear from dynamic speakers and to begin to take action as a community. All are welcome.

Join us to hear personal stories about accessing abortion care in the current landscape from We Testify Storytellers Anise Simon, Nick Thixton, and Veronika Granado.
We'll hear why this is a critical Jewish issue from Jewish clergy involved with NCJW’s Rabbis for Repro campaign, including Rabbi Sandra Lawson, Rabbi Becky Silverstein, Rabbi Josh Feigelson, Rabbi Ari Lev Fornari, Rabbi Hannah Goldstein, and Rabbi Danya Ruttenberg!

We'll learn from Lorie Chaiten, an attorney at the American Civil Liberty Union’s Reproductive Freedom Project where she focusses on challenging unconstitutional abortion restrictions. Lorie will share updates on the safety and efficacy of medication abortion and progress on legal battles with the FDA.

Don't forget to register for our virtual campaign launch on October 27, 2021 at 7 PM ET / 4 PM PT. We'll be sharing more about our mission, and how you can help us affect real change in the lives of women, children, and families.
Thank you to those who participated in Vote Forward’s effort to increase voter turnout in Virginia this year. In total, nearly 16,000 dedicated volunteers wrote more than 1 million letters to voters in Virginia.

The first wave of letters mailed in September encouraged Virginians to request an absentee ballot. Then last weekend, another wave of letters were sent to remind voters to cast their ballot.

A few years ago, a volunteer get-out-the-vote effort of this magnitude in a year without a national election would have been hard to imagine. Now, there are enough volunteers who care deeply about our democracy to make it a reality.

Your efforts will help ensure that Virginians make their voices heard in this high-stakes election. Vote Forward will also use what they learned from this double-letter experiment to optimize their programming and campaigns in 2022 and beyond.

If you’re looking for more ways to help in the days leading up to the Virginia elections on November 2, here are two suggestions:
