Dear APAP Members and Colleagues,

In case you missed my note on Friday, I wanted to make sure you didn't miss this important two-part webinar series on livestreaming that starts today.

But before I share that information, I wanted to convey my disappointment with the recent news about larger companies using a loophole to secure funds from the Paycheck Protection Program. As follow-up legislation is being written and as Congress looks to add funding to the program, I urge you to contact your Congressional representatives , if you have not yet shared your story with them. You can also use these talking points .

If you have been thinking about how livestreaming may fit into your work, join APAP and the Alliance of Performing Arts Conferences for these two informative webinars:

  • Today, Tuesday, April 21 at 1 p.m. (EDT), join us for "Ask an Expert: The Legal Landscape of Livestreaming". This webinar will feature a discussion of the legal realities surrounding live streamed concerts, from copyright restrictions to contractual considerations, royalty recuperation and licensing agreements. Register now.
