We have been working hard to make sure we take all of the necessary steps to increase safety & comfort for all of those in the clinic, as well as complying with all measure set forth by our Ministry of Public Health, as well as our Practitioner regulatory boards.

New General Policies

Mandatory COVID Screening - you will receive a questionaire by email 24 hours prior to your appointment. We require this form to be completed prior to every in-clinic appointment. If you have a virtual appointment (phone or video) scheduled, please disregard the screening questionaire. This screening will also be done verbally by your Practitioner upon arrival. If you answer "yes" to any of the questions, you will be asked to reschedule your appointment when you can confidently answer "no" to all questions (if it is a Naturopathic Consulation, you can book a phone/video consultation instead). Furthermore, if you answer "yes" to any of the questions, please complete this Public Health  Covid-19 Self-Assessment for further screening and instructions.

Sanitizing Hands - everyone must visit the washroon upon arrival (turn right once you reach the second floor) to wash their hands well with soap and water, and then please also use the handsanitizer provided at our door on your way in. 

Masks - everyone is asked to please wear a mask when in the clinic. A cloth / re-usable mask is acceptable.

Please come alone  to your appointment unless you require assistance (or for children). We also ask that you come right at your appointment time rather than early. This helps us to minimize the number of people in the clinic at a time and increase our physical distancing.

Payment processing  - currently, we are not accepting cash payments. We recommend taking advantage of our direct billing service (to your insurance provider), or credit card (to tap) to minimize time spent in our reception area, however Debit transactions are also available. 

Clinic Sanitization - we have increased measures and frequency of cleaning in the clinic as a whole and treatment rooms, linens, and all surfaces will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between clients.  

Naturopathic Medicine 

Our Naturopathic Doctors will continue to provide Virtual Care (phone/video consultations) predominately. For those that require an in-person assessment or treatment (including acupuncture) where the benefit to in-person care outweighs any risk to patients or staff, in-clinic shifts will be available beginning June 9th. All in-clinic appointments can be scheduled by phone or email through reception, and all Virtual Care can be scheduled in this way or through our  online booking site.

We ask that all patients follow our general policies listed above including wearing a mask. A partition has been placed on the desk to create a safe barrier for you and your ND to have a conversation without masks if you are comfortable with that. Anytime you and your ND are not divided with the barrier (for exam, acupuncture needle placement/removal, injection, etc. we ask that you both place your masks on.

Products and Tea are always available for purchase. Natural Health Product packaging will be sanitized upon arrival to the clinic, and increased protective precautions will be taken when blending teas. If you would like to purchase products without an in-clinic visit, we ask that you call or email ahead of time so that we can prepare your order to minimize time spent/number of people in the clinic. We will continue to offer our "contactless pick-up" service during our reception hours (listed below), in which your package is prepped and left for quick pick-up just outside our door at a convenient time for you. Our in-house blends of "Dr. Lauren's Teas", and patient custom blends are also available through our Online Tea Shop with options for shipping or free contactless pick-up.

Massage Therapy

The Ministry of Public Health and the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario have stressed the importance of risk management during the initial re-opening phase, meaning that treatment should only be provided if the benefits outweigh the potential risks. In other words, we have been asked to reopen slowly and only provide therapy to those who would experience negative consequences if not treated. Our goal is to keep our clients and staff as safe as we can. So for now, we kindly ask that you refrain from booking appointments without health concerns, or to just use up your benefits.

There have been some changes to Angie's schedule to allow for more time between clients to allow for physical distancing, increased disinfecting measures, and record keeping. Her schedule is now open for booking.

Masks  - Please note that Angie will be wearing a mask that will be changed after every client. Masks are to be worn by clients at all times. 

ALL Clients are asked to please fill in an updated Health History Form online prior to your next treatment as of June 1st 2020. This form is available through your appointment reminder as well as your booking confirmation email. 

Please note that the fee for Massage Therapy has increased by $5 to account for increase in equipment, supplies, etc. We thank you for understanding.
