Teacher’s Note:
It was so great reading the first “Parent’s Corner” recommendation featuring one of our high school students and their adventures in San Francisco! I am very excited to learn more and more about my students and their adventures out in the community with family and friends.
I would love find out who would be interested in volunteering/joining along on a (planned future) field trips and invite parents to join along experience a familiar community outing that their peer has gone on outside of school.
This would allow the students (who are interested in participating) the opportunity to navigate with their peers in a place one is familiar and comfortable.
The will have the opportunity to see their peers interests
The opportunity to spend with learning important skills in the community with family.
The class is starting to use GoNoodle videos in addition to the Stop, Breathe, Think videos introduced a few months back. Many of these videos are used during morning meeting, movement breaks, afternoon exercise, etc.
