EMERGENCY COMMUNITY FORUM RECAP | JUNE 2, 2020
Thank you to everyone who attended "Working Towards Justice in Our Community: Hyde Park-Kenwood Emergency Community Forum" hosted by the Hyde Park-Kenwood Community Conference (HPKCC) on Tuesday, June 2nd .

We heard moving remarks from community members, and helpful policy solutions from local elected officials Commissioner Kim DuBuclet (MWRD) , Rep. Curtis J. Tarver II (IL-25) , Rep. Kam Buckner (IL-26) , and Sen. Robert Peters (IL-13) .

We look forward to continuing the conversation on what we can do to end systemic racism and support communities of color.

COVID-19 COMMUNITY DIALOGUE ON HOUSING

Join HPKCC and the Coalition for Equitable Development on Thursday, June 11th for the next event in HPKCC's COVID-19 Community Dialogue series , focusing on housing.

The event will include a discussion of the neighborhood-level housing impact of COVID-19 and the City of Chicago's housing response and a panel discussion regarding protections for renters and homeowners during the pandemic.
