"No one ever asks me for those books", He said. "They always ask for the books on success, making money and what can benefit them! They never ask me for those books", The Lord replied. We were in the huge Library in Heaven. From floor to ceiling were books of all sizes. There were ladders to help you reach the books on higher levels. In the center of the room was a big wooden desk. The time was 2004 and I was working at a Widows Ministry Center where we were being contacted by individuals and churches continually asking for materials on widowhood. The need was growing but there were not many resources available. When He asked me what books I wanted to read I immediately said "Lord, the books on the widow!"
The Lord pulled out three books that had grayish-tan covers. One by one He began to open them for me. The pages were stuck together in many places. I noticed there were no colors on the cover or the pages, just the words were present. As I read the words concerning the widow it tasted like honey in my mouth. As I agreed with the words, the book came alive! Color came onto the pages! Color came onto the cover! This happened with all three books as the Lord opened the revelation to me. For five days I wrote revelation concerning the widow from this encounter! He showed me how the widow is a vital part of the end-time harvest! That the fields were ripe, and the corners of the fields were reserved for us to glean! The borders of nations needed to be established with righteousness. As the Church obeyed the Word, great blessing would be released to them! An end-time message was being revealed to me with fresh purpose for the widows and for the Body of Christ!
In Joshua 1:8 it says, "This Book of the Law (God's Word) shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe ("SHAMAR") and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success."
Wow! If we don't forget the Word that God has given us, and we observe it in our hearts, we will prosper! The word we translate "observe" is the Hebrew word "Shamar" which means "to guard and to be a watchman" over it.
If God certainly hears the cry or pray of the widow (Ex 22:23) and He will establish the borders or territory of the widow (Pro 15:25) my goodness, nations can be saved! Ex 22:22-24 tells us not to afflict the widow or to take advantage of her. In fact, it goes on to tell the harsh judgment that will come if we do! Debt 14:29 declares great blessing when we care for what God cares about, including the widow!
That's how we prosper...we care about what matters to God! We let love rule our hearts!
What Word has He put into your heart? Have you guarded it? Is there a promise He has revealed in scripture or through a prophetic word you need to watch over so that it is not stolen or forgotten?
He is opening the books to us at this appointed time! Be sure to take time to spend in His presence so He can release revelation to you also! No longer should His insights be unwanted or neglected! Let Him open to you your book and remind you of what He has given you in the past!
